1. General Terms of Service
By booking or using services provided by Freshly Services (“we”, “us”, “our”), the customer, the person who books the job, or the person who makes the payment (or anyone acting on their behalf) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
Freshly Services offers a wide range of property maintenance and cleaning services, including but not limited to:
Couch, sofa, and upholstery cleaning
Carpet steam cleaning
Pest control and treatment
Possum removal (cage setup and release only)
Water damage restoration
General residential and commercial property maintenance and related services.
Customers acknowledge and accept the limitations of cleaning, restoration, and pest control services as outlined in this document.
2. Scope & Limitations of Service.
Services are intended to improve cleanliness, hygiene, or safety of the treated property or item.
We do not guarantee restoration to ‘brand new’ condition nor complete stain, odour, or damage removal.
Results vary based on age, fabric/material type, condition, environment, and prior treatment.
Certain risks may occur during service including:
Colour fading, shrinking, staining
Leather cracking or finish removal
Fabric seam separation or stitching issues
Pest re-infestation due to untreated neighbouring areas
3. No Guarantees or Liability for Damage
We accept no responsibility for cosmetic, structural, or incidental damage that results from cleaning, pest, or maintenance services.
No warranties, guarantees, or performance assurances are made unless expressly stated in writing.
Possum removal is strictly limited to cage setup and possible relocation — no exclusion or proofing is included.
Water damage restoration focuses on moisture extraction and cleaning only — no guarantee is provided for pre-existing damage or future deterioration.
Under no circumstance shall Freshly Services be held liable for any actions or omissions of the attending service provider, regardless of whether the individual holds appropriate licenses or operates within the legal scope of their trade.
4. Customer Warranties
The customer, the person who books the job, or the person who makes the payment (or anyone acting on their behalf) warrants and confirms:
They are the legal property owner, occupier, or authorised person at the service location.
All relevant service information has been disclosed.
Breakables and valuables have been removed from the service area.
They accept the inherent risks of cleaning, pest control, and maintenance services.
They acknowledge that Freshly Services may engage contractors, employees, operators, or third parties to perform services.
They warrant they have independently confirmed the identity, qualifications, licensing, and insurance of the attending provider.
They accept full responsibility for allowing the work to proceed and release Freshly Services from any liability arising from improper conduct, unlicensed activity, or breach of law or regulation by the service provider.
5. Marketing Consent & Data Use
By engaging Freshly Services, the customer consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for service and marketing purposes, including:
Email, SMS, phone, and social media campaigns
Direct marketing and remarketing on platforms like Google and Facebook
Customer reviews, testimonials, and printed advertising materials

6. Privacy Policy (Australian Privacy Act 1988)
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Full name, email, phone, suburb
Booking and service details
Correspondence or feedback
b) Use of Information:
Booking and service delivery
Customer communication
Marketing and advertising purposes
c) Disclosure:
May be shared with contractors, CRM providers, or law enforcement if legally required
Not sold or rented to external parties
d) Data Security:
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect customer data from unauthorised access or misuse.
7. Cancellations, Access & Missed Appointments
Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.
The customer must provide legal, unobstructed, and safe access to the service location.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a booking or payment, the customer confirms they:
Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
Accept all risks and disclaimers provided
Provide full authority for Freshly Services to collect, process, and use their information as described
10. Independent Operators, Contractors & Third Parties
All services are delivered by the person attending the site — not necessarily by Freshly Services directly.
Freshly Services may issue invoices or collect payments on behalf of third-party operators and retain a service fee or commission.
Freshly Services acts solely as a booking, coordination, and payment facilitator, and is not the employer or agent of the attending individual.
In some cases, the attending service provider may issue a separate invoice to Freshly Services for their portion of the work performed.
The customer acknowledges that the attending provider may operate independently and Freshly Services has no responsibility for verifying licensing, insurances, registrations, or legal .
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to verify the credentials and legal authority of any service provider before allowing work to begin. This includes verifying trade licenses, public liability insurance, and with , state, or federal laws.
Freshly Services shall not be held liable in any way for unlicensed activity, unlawful conduct, unsatisfactory work, or failure to comply with any applicable laws or regulations by the attending contractor or third-party service provider.
The customer expressly acknowledges that Freshly Services does not supervise, direct, control, or guarantee the performance, conduct, or legality of any attending provider, and accepts all associated risks.
